It has to be the sunset in Neko Harbour, Antarctica. Fresh off the buzz of a Cotton Eye Joe dance party out on deck, I found myself standing in awe at the most beautiful, pastel sunset I’ve ever seen. There wasn’t a gust of wind, and not a single sound other than the ship gently passing through the water. The contrast from the dance party just minutes earlier was surreal, and I still sometimes wonder if it truly happened, or if it was just a dream. That’s the magic of Antarctica - it never ceases to amaze. The vastness, the unexpected, and the profound sense of being part of something much bigger than myself are memories I’ll carry forever.

As a female solo traveler, I’m constantly inspired by the incredible women I meet on my journeys. Each one is a reminder of the power of independence and the courage to explore the world on her own terms. The world is so big, and there’s so much to discover - so let’s start exploring!

I picture immersing myself in the rich Polynesian culture, taking a dip in the turquoise waters, and exploring the abundant marine life and incredible biodiversity. Of course, no adventure in French Polynesia is complete without a piña colada or two!
