The summer of 2023 when my partner and I drove our campervan up through Scandinavia, reaching the most northern part of Europe – the North Cape! Over the following four weeks, we followed the coastal roads down the west of Norway, reaching Lofoten. To this day, this is the most impressive landscape we've ever visited.

My exploration inspiration is Herbert Ponting. As the photographer on Scott’s Terra Nova Expedition, he didn’t just document the journey — he brought Antarctica to life for the rest of the world. I love how he captured the scale of the landscapes, the wildlife, and the people in a way that tells a story beyond the frame. His work reminds me that photography isn’t just about taking pictures; it’s about sharing experiences, conveying emotion, and making viewers feel like they’re standing in the middle of the adventure. His legacy fuels my own desire to explore, observe, and capture the world’s wildest places through my lens.

My dream adventure is to explore the White Continent — Antarctica. To follow in the footsteps of Shackleton and the great polar explorers would be to step into living history, surrounded by towering glaciers and vast, untouched landscapes. As a photographer, it offers the ultimate canvas: penguin colonies in motion, whales breaking the icy surface, seals hauled out on drifting icebergs, and ever-changing light that transforms the wilderness by the hour. It’s not just about travel — it’s about capturing moments in one of the last truly wild places on earth.
