“What truly brings me joy as a guide and workshop leader is the ability to share my knowledge and provide guests with the most remarkable experiences imaginable.”

Personal Note

It all began during my teenage years when I first picked up a camera. There was something captivating about capturing the beauty and essence of wildlife through the lens, and this fascination perfectly intertwined with my growing interest in photography.

In 2012, I took a leap of faith and relocated to Greenland, where I had the opportunity to work as an activity guide for the US Air Force. Following my time in Greenland, I found myself drawn to the enchanting allure of Svalbard. So I moved there.

What truly brings me joy as a guide and workshop leader is the ability to share my knowledge and provide guests with the most remarkable experiences imaginable. Whether I’m leading a group through breathtaking landscapes or conducting workshops to teach the art of photography, being able to pass on my expertise and create unforgettable moments for others is incredibly rewarding.

Aside from the cold regions, I’ve had the chance to explore and dive in various parts of Asia, indulging in my passion for underwater photography. Over the past seven years, I’ve shifted my focus to diving in colder environments, where I’ve been fortunate enough to swim alongside killer whales and humpback whales in the majestic waters of Northern Norway. It’s an awe-inspiring experience that continues to fuel my love for the natural world.

Throughout my journey, I’ve had the privilege of organizing photography workshops in diverse locations, including Denmark, Uganda, Norway, Antarctica, and Greenland. These workshops have provided a platform for sharing knowledge, honing skills, and creating a community of passionate photographers.

In terms of certifications, I hold several important qualifications. I have completed the STCW course, obtained a speed boat license, received first aid training, including CPR, and even trained as a firefighter. These certifications not only ensure my preparedness for various situations but also reflect my commitment to safety and the well-being of those around me.

I wanted to share this glimpse into my life and experiences with you, as it’s an integral part of who I am and the work I do. I am truly grateful for the opportunities I’ve had and the incredible people I’ve met along the way. If you ever have any questions or want to dive deeper into any of these topics, I’d be more than happy to chat.
